Join Home AKL artists Louisa Humphry and Kaetaeta Watson to explore materials and weaving techniques. Drop in and stay as long as you like, get hands on and create your own artwork to share with others.

Winners of the 2012 NZ Hip Hop championships, Prestige Dance Crew have danced with the likes of DMX, Chris Brown and Missy Elliott.

1pm - 3pm: Drop-in session
Join Home AKL artist Janet Lilo as we build a sculptural landscape. Chat, experiment with materials and add your own version of 'home' to this collaborative work of art.

Join artist Angela Tiatia for a short talk on her works Material Culture and
Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis.

Contemporary Samoan poet Courtney Meredith is joined by other Pacific poets for an emotional spoken word response to Home AKL.

Tatau Dance finishes the day with their renowned high-energy and fast-paced Samoan dance.
