MUM Presents:
+ The Eversons
+ Emily Edrosa
+ Beach Pigs
The Eversons have been busying themselves writing the kind of witty, indie pop that made Lil Chief such a seminal record label in New Zealand: which is appropriate, because the band are signed to said Auckland stalwarts. On top of that, theyve been gaining a bunch of b-net radio play for singles like Could It Get Any Better and creating a YouTube storm with cute-as-a-button videos for tracks like Hyacinth Girl.

Emily Edrosa is the solo moniker of Street Chant front woman Emily Littler. Shes opened for a bunch of international artists and writes beautiful, angst-ridden tracks that remind us of Rid of Me-era PJ Harvey, in the best possible way.

Beach Pigs are pretty much a resident band at MUM at the moment, mainly because they play wherever and whenever they can and because they rule, thats a lot! Theyre opening proceedings this week at MUM with their grungy, totally Dunedin Sound-y tracks.
