Acts confirmed this year represent the best in local and international artists. Long Island, New York's hip-hop legends De La Soul head up the international contingent, alongside Grammy-award nominated electronica from Australia's Cut Copy. Live and direct from the UK, the rightly celebrated Channel One Sound System featuring legendary selector Mikey Dread, alongside Dutch DJ/drum n bass producers extraordinaire Black Sun Empire. And let's not forget the debut NZ performance of celebrated American bluesman Seasick Steve.
Shapeshifter, Shihad, Fat Freddy's Drop and Kora headline the list of local artists alongside our own hip-hop bad boysHome Brew, reggae's finest local exponents Katchafire, award-winning Ladi6, Sola Rosa, AHoriBuzz, The Upbeats featuring MC Tali, and holding it all down is MC Slave rolling out his Logg Cabin, including a revolving roster of DJs including Manuel Bundy and Submariner with general support MCs to tie the day’s events together.
