This November will see the release of Sharkness' debut album Coat of Arms, recorded by Dr Lee Prebble at the Surgery and produced by Age Pryor.
Sharkness is Robin Hinkley's solo project, created while other members of his band Good Laika were busy procreating. The album’s gestation was not without its dramas, involving a day of running away from the police in Mumbai during an attempt at filming a music video, as well as a macabre day spent amongst stuffed animals in Featherston.
With special guest Tiny Ruins.
The album's release coincides with gigs in Wellington and Auckland.
