The mystic league of The Golden Dawn and Eat Here Now are joining hands to say grace once more, with the second in our Sunday Lunch series.
A generous, conceptual banquet, made to be shared, is served slow and steady over a few sweet hours on long tables in a transformed Dawn courtyard.
With a lax seating arrangement (no names on the placemats here), one is encouraged to break bread with a stranger and a loved one alike, whilst enjoying a little gourmet background music, and supping on a drinky-drink.
In keeping with the New Years resolutionary "vibe", we're going meat-free, worshiping at Mother Nature's summer produce altar, with flavours and flair to melt the heart of even the fussiest omnivore.
Our beloved Golden Dawn chef Becks Pilley has been meditating intently on this for weeks, and at last the menu can be unveiled! Feast your eyes, and eventually your tongues and teeth on the following:
Buffalo mozzarella & broadbean salad w/ lemon & mint
Charred eggplant, walnuts & tahini
Middle Eastern sweet & sour cherry tomatoes w/ cilantro
Warm sourdough loaves & garlic nettle butter
Spelt risotto w/ beetroot & horseradish
Wild mushrooms w/ puy lentils, sage & hazelnuts
Fire roasted corn cobs w/ lime and spicy mayo
Green beans w/ tarragon & mustard seeds
Wild greens, puha & nasturtium
Brioche summer pudding & citrus cream
