Avalanche City, Jesse Sheehan and Xuri Cruz take over Nixon Park, Kingsland as part of Auckland Council’s Music in Parks series.
Avalanche City is the brainchild of musician Dave Baxter. His sound is the epitome of lo-fi pop perfection; delicately woven chords wrapped around honest words of dedication that are guaranteed to warm the heart of the true music fan.
Playing support are new Auckland based three piece Xuri Xruz (think Tom Cruise's daughter), fronted by Bradley Artist, who is joined by Calum Gunn and Ollie Skinner will play support alongside Wellington-based Jesse Sheehan, who at only 20 years old has had two tracks from his debut album recognised as Apra Silver Scroll top 20 finalists.
Auckland Council’s Music in Parks 2013 programme features over 40 performances from January 2, 2012 – March 24, 2013.
