Doppler’s debut single Oblivion, recorded at Auckland’s York Street Studios, dropped in October 2010 and propelled them onto the Kiwi rock landscape. The lads then relocated to the big smoke and embarked on a 14-gig self-funded nationwide tour, impressing audiences with their energetic live set and killer sound.
Their edgy alternative rock sound, described by the band as “a blast of true rock & roll – loud guitars, big drums and the rawest vocals New Zealand has ever seen” has also paved the way for Doppler to take the stage as an opening act for some of our most well-known bands including Opshop, Atlas, Elemeno P, Autozamm, Goodnight Nurse and I am Giant.
THESE AUTOMATIC CHANGERS - https://www.facebook.com/theseautomaticchangers'fref=ts
An inspired mix of electrified Delta blues, Zepp-like riffs and 70's soul they continue to build a following on the tour circuit and re-ignite rock'n'roll.
The high intensity charge of classic sonic blues, leaden rock’n’roll, spooked by an altogether more archaic blend of 70's soul.
Since the release of their eponymous self titled E.P., These Automatic Changers have built their reputation as the new heavyweight champions of the kind of rock n roll sorely absent in current public consciousness.
VALEDICTIONS -
Valedictions are an Auckland based three piece Rock’n’Roll Powerhouse Muther Fuckers. With no end in sight Valedictions are preparing a raft of new songs to release to the public, video footage
and more. Driving guitars, solid riffs and melodic harmonies set Valedictions up to be one of the arising
bands to watch out for.
