On the road for the first time together, Wellingtonian Phoebe Hurst and Aussie adopted Wellingtonian Adam Page will be packing their loop pedals and stacks of instruments into the car for a December tiny tour of a few of the coolest venues in the North Island.
Considering herself somewhere in the area of “hip-pop”, Phoebe’s music could be described as smooshed together home-made beat-box and hand-claps, threaded with a series of swooping vocal cries and ticks that are looped to come back at you again and again.
Considering himself somewhere in the area of manic-funk-fun, Adam's music could be described as crazy, improvised multi-instrumental whatever-he-feels-like-at-the-time music threaded with a series of saxophone honks, vocal rumbles and string wiggles that also are looped to come back at you again and again... and again.
Each will play a set and will no doubt find it hard to keep out of each other's.
