ODR Productions are thrilled to announce Periphery for the first time in New Zealand, alongside the return of Animals As Leaders.
Periphery & Animals As Leaders
Wednesday 29 January 2014
Kings Arms Tavern, Auckland.
One of the world’s foremost progressive metal acts, Maryland’s Periphery have announced that they will be gracing New Zealand along with Washingtonians Animals As Leaders for a one off show this January.
Since the release of their self-titled debut album in 2010, Periphery have become one of the metal scene’s most forward-thinking and unconventional bands, bringing a novel dimension and unique scope to the genre. Their innovative brand of metal will be on full display on the New Zealand stage.
Animals as Leaders have likewise been praised for the singularity of their sound, which combines elements of progressive metal with the breadth and experimentalism of jazz fusion, which led guitar legend Steve Vai to label them “the future of creative, heavy virtuoso guitar playing.”
Under 18's can attend with proper caregiver supervision.
