New Zealand's hardcore juggernaut SAVING GRACE are here to take your attention by force and they show no sign of slowing down, since their inception in 2005 the band have gone from strength to strength touring the world and winning over thousands of dedicated fans with their unrivalled, ferocious blend of brutal hardcore and metal.
Their fourth studio album 'The Urgency' blew up this January when it hit the album charts in New Zealand and in the United States giving the band even further exposure and influence in a scene filled with countless modern counterparts who struggle to deliver a similar level of intensity.
Dubbed by America's HM Magazine as The future of Heavy Music Saving Grace released 'The Urgency' to an overwhelming response from fans and critics alike.
Easily the band's most aggressive and uncompromising work to date, 'The Urgency' was engineered and produced by California's Zack Ohren (Immolation, Carnifex, All Shall Perish, The Ghost Inside) and quickly rose to prominence within metal and hardcore circles both at home and abroad when first week numbers catapulted Saving Grace to the top of numerous album charts. Debuting at #1 on the New Zealand iTunes Metal charts, #2 on the iTunes Rock Chart and #3 on the Official Top 20 New Zealand Albums Chart, the band made history with the heaviest release in New Zealand to debut on the mainstream charts. 'The Urgency' also debuted at #57 and #59 on the American Billboard Hard Music and Heatseekers Charts, respectively and featured on the Official New Zealand Music Charts for 5 weeks.
Since the release of the highly anticipated new album in late January on California's Facedown Records, Saving Grace have performed in front of thousands of metal and hardcore fanatics at Summer festivals like Parachute and Westfest alongside the likes of Megadeth, KoRn, Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Rob Zombie & MxPx showing audiences that they are a force to be reckoned with whilst winning over a multitude of new fans.
This month the band returned home to New Zealand after their fourth tour of the United States where they supported the release of 'The Urgency' from coast to coast, finishing up at California's annual Facedown Fest.

Hailing from Tuscaloosa, Alabama Gideon signed to Facedown Records in 2011 and won over countless fans through their tireless work ethic and touring schedule which has seen the band travel relentlessly across North America, Canada and Europe supporting some of the biggest names in modern metal and appear at numerous high profile festivals including the legendary New England Hardcore & Metal Festival where this April the band joins the likes of Behemoth, Iced Earth, All That Remains, Whitechapel, Unearth & Bleeding Through.
Hot off the back of this year's massive MOSH LIVES Tour with Emmure, Volumes, Thy Art Is Murder and Sworn In, Gideon are heading downunder for 4 shows in New Zealand alongside Saving Grace before flying out for their debut headlining tour of Australia.
Upon their return from Australasia the band will be sharing the stage with metal and rock giants such as Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, Bad Religion, The Offspring, Lamb of God and Hatebreed at the massive Heavy Montreal Festival in Canada.
