GRAHAM WARDROP & ANDREW LONDON
TWO OLD FRETS
At a chance meeting in Wellington some time around the late 1980s, guitarists Graham Wardrop and Andrew London planned to do some gigs together ‘one day’.
As the old bloke in the cheese ad says: ‘These things take time you know...’.
Both London and Wardrop confess to being lifelong Beatles addicts, so expect re-workings of one or two Fab Four tunes and a selection of original songs culled from two extensive back-catalogues.
With 20-odd albums worth of material to choose from, representing 30 years touring and recording experience, plus the possibility of a song or two co-written specially for this tour, audiences can expect an eclectic and diverse range of musical experiences from these two engaging and travel-worn story tellers.
