Palace Rats
------------
Recording in their first demos in early October, Palace Rats have exploded upon the Dunedin music scene, formed in March and gigging weekly these cats are crafting their sound on the stage. Mixing New York pop rock with brit-rock style breaks and grooves, their music is reminiscent of The Strokes, The Arctic Monkeys and the Libertines.
Shunkan
------------
Recently established in February 2014 and led by established underground up-and-comer Marina Sakimoto, Shunkan is an international cohort of talent mixing dream-pop, shoegazing goodness with an ethereal unblemished energy. They have been compared to artists such as Waxahatchee and My Bloody Valentine. Check out their music at https://shunkan.bandcamp.com
