Get up close and personal with these three artists in Newmarkets Lucha Lounge on November 6th.
The three assorted folk/rock/pop acts have come together to give you a very immersive experience where you will be literally amongst the band in this unique show setting.
The Paper Cranes have worked hard since their 2011 beginning and have released 3 singles already. On top of this the complex band will take you on a lovely journey through melody and story, having honed their stagecraft just as well as the production of their singles. Soft and compelling, the band dwells on folk but has alternative romps too.
Albi and The Wolves have been around for a very short time, having only formed approximately three moths ago. Taking conventional folk and rocketing it through soul, blugrass and folk roots. They have no singles as of yet, but a growing interest through Auckland indicates that the band has promise in their new works.
Arthur Ahbez A freshly squeezed glass of rock & roll, straight from the vineyard of 1960.. This hard working individual already has an album to his name, Gold, and is usually accompanied by a rockin' band. For this gig he will be taking a chilled out vibe to open the show.
