Gig Information

Defining SHIHAD LIVE is much like trying to define the All Blacks, Bruce Lee, or tomorrow’s sunrise. SHIHAD LIVE embodies a commitment, consistency and that unique electricity that makes them... QUINTESSENTIAL . Since their beginning, SHIHAD have crafted a canon of work that is embedded into the nation’s rock psyche.

August 2014 saw the release of the chart topping album FVEY (pronounced FIVE EYES), closely followed by a ground breaking live debut of that album to a sold out Horncastle Arena in Christchurch. This summer SHIHAD lead a juggernaut of the rockingest proportions to the Summer Tours circuit. Expect the rock-u-matic hammer to be fully cocked and ready for action, as SHIHAD recruit the following brothers in arms to join them…

CUE ROLL CALL... THE DATSUNS, I AM GIANT, & CAIRO KNIFE FIGHT will play seven shows throughout New Zealand. South Islanders should make a date for New Year’s Eve, when SHIHAD & company hit Christchurch’s Cathedral Square for the loudest end-of-year party the mainland has seen in a millennia.

THE DATSUNS – Hot on the back of the release of their sixth and latest album Deep Sleep, THE DATSUNS recently blazed through a run of tour dates throughout the UK and Europe, and as we speak, are on the eve of an Australian tour. There is no doubt they will be on top form when the tour kicks off

I AM GIANT – based in the UK and fresh from touring the US and Europe their second album SCIENCE & SURVIVAL has stayed on the NZ charts since its release in July 2014.

CAIRO KNIFE FIGHT - Two musicians, one massive noise. In anticipation of their debut album dropping in March 2015 - The band have lit up airwaves with their first single 'REZLORD' and it's accompanying NSFW video. A must see live act of power and excitement, CAIRO KNIFE FIGHT are pushing the limits of what two musicians can do on one stage.
