Yuletide comes early to the Lido Café on Saturday 20th Dec when The Five O’clock Shadows come to town.
Fresh back from a gruelling tour of Paris, New York New York, London and Levin, the Shadows bring a swag of musical prezzies for everyone. Unwrap yourself a little something from Old Blue Eyes, the Big ‘O’, The King, Burt Bacharach, Shirley Bassie, and even DJ-miester Fatboy Slim, all with that special Shadows treatment.
They’ve ditched the standard Xmas wrapping for something far more jazzy and have ordered in an embarrassing amount of mistletoe.
Lead man Phil Costello says, ‘The large dude from the north couldn’t make it, something about a few hundred million kids to visit, so we’re covering. Big shoes to fill, sure, but we’ll be bringing enough love for everyone. Mr Fabulous and Mr Marvellous will be heading up the horn section, just to help you get through all those songs you know and love but probably can’t sing.’
