For those of you who have always dreamed of getting up on stage and singing with the band...........well now's your chance.
Sarah Macombee, vocal teacher and lead singer of Macombee & The Absolute Truth will be presenting a vocal workshop exploring harmony and stage performance skills. Participants with discounted combination tickets for the show and workshop will then be invited to join the band on stage that night to perform a song from their new album No Man's Land
Please note that this is very special opportunity is open to a limited number only and therefore early booking is essential.
Sarah's workshops are fun and informal and will begin with a vocal warm up. She has a gift for making people feel at ease and before you know it you'll be making some wonderful sounds together. She will teach you a song from the show called Ripples. A beautiful song about forgiveness sung in either 2 or 3 part harmony. Basic performance techniques will be talked about for the show that evening. Participants will go away feeling inspired and looking forward to their performance later that evening. A wonderful opportunity to come together and do something different.
Workshop will run from 4.00pm to 5.30pm
Tickets are very limited and cost $10 for the workshop or buy a discounted $15 for both the workshop and show.
This workshop will be held at the Northland Youth Theatre (above the Old stone Butter Factory)
