Night one (Thursday 15) is headlined by best rock album VNZMA nominees Ekko Park! After a brief stint in the UK, a tour with I Am Giant and shows with Fire At Will at the tail end of 2014 Ekko Park are at the top of their game. Hit singles include ‘Simpatico’ and ‘My Crime’ both of which topped the NZ iTunes Rock chart followed up by the number two placing ‘Becoming The Enemy’.
Thursday:
Thin White Lines - One of NZ’s best kept secrets their new single ‘Chemicals’ from the EP of the same name is proof enough that it’s time Thin White Lines climbed the ranks of NZ’s pop punk to take their place at the top.
Braves - Played Tape Deck Fest 2014 (AU), they’ve supported some of pop punk’s finest international acts, including State Champs and Neck Deep.
Silence The City - Have shared stages with Blacklistt, have been announced to play Homegrown 2014 and their cover of Ellie Goulding’s ‘Burn’ has been watched almost 200,000 times on YouTube. Stand out tracks are: ‘The Chase’ and ‘After The Tone’
