For the all-important Waitangi weekend in Feb 2015, Nathan Haines joins forces with Auckland-based band Sola Rosa for an exciting double bill featuring both bands.
UK based singer and “5 A Day” album collaborator Kevin Mark Trail joins fellow album contributor Tama Waipara on vocal duties, with Nathan’s brother Joel on guitar and Mickey Ututaonga on drums, the original drummer from Nathan’s now legendary 1994 album Shift Left.
Nathan will be performing material from the latest album “5 A Day”, plus of course some favourites from his 20 years in the business and 10 solo album’s worth of great music.
Saturday Feb 7 sees Nathan and Sola Rosa at the Raglan Club, then Sunday Feb 8 both bands are at the beautiful setting of Hamilton’s Vilagrad Winery and Vineyard for a late afternoon outdoor concert.
