The performance arcade live music series presents the Afternoon Music Series with Nicole Andrews, Towers, Nikita Tu Bryant and Meyle Manzanza.
Nicole Andrews-
pianist & singer/songwriter, Nicole Andrews is a multitalented emerging artist with a fan base that spans the globe. Her raw piano driven style with her delicate yet cutting vocals bring a new meaning to storm in a tea cup.
Originally from Portland Oregon and now residing in Wellington New Zealand, Nicole presents a very unique musical perspective. A combination of being self taught, extensive performance experience; Nicole writes about her own life and her personal darkness.
Towers-
Towers are an indie pop band from Wellington New Zealand. They have a strong focus on vocal harmony and lyrics.
In 2014 Towers released their debut single 'Phonecalls' as well as their first live session’s video for their track 'Battlecry’. They whiled away their ‘spare-time’ playing in some of Wellington’s best live music venues.
In 2015 they are travelling to Loose Stones Studios in the Gold Coast to record their debut EP.
Nikita Tu Bryant-
As a young Eurasian performer her music bridges two cultures and two countries; old Taiwan and contemporary Jazz funk and epic, cinematic folk music. Nikita Tu Bryant has an unforgettable name and a unique way of bringing her two worlds into creative collision. -radionz.co.nz
Meyle Manzanza-
Myele Manzanza’s prowess as a drummer have earned him a reputation as a musician capable of seamlessly traversing jazz, hip-hop, r’n'b, electronica, broken-beat, soul and world music. For the past six years he has traveled the globe as part of New Zealand’s acclaimed modern soul group, Electric Wire Hustle and turned heads internationally with his charismatic live performance and technical skill. Now stepping forward with his solo debut Myele reveals another dimension of his musical persona.
