This concert features cello soloists Nicholas Riordan and Jane Radford in Handel’s Sonata for Two Cellos, arranged for two cellos and string orchestra, Three Pieces by Purcell and Fugue in D minor by Bach. The concert also includes Kyrie for the Solemn Mass of Easter Day by Camerata’s conductor Patrick Shepherd and Elgar’s evergreen Serenade for Strings.
