Since completing a BMus (Hons) at Auckland University's jazz programme (affectionately known as 'Jazz School') in 2013,
Chelsea Prastiti (BMus (Hons) at Auckland University's 'Jazz School' programme) has worked for many different projects over the course of her seven years as a vocalist on the Auckland jazz scene, and with her latest effort, she presents an afternoon of modern original compositions, with as wide an array of influences as she fancies. Her love of jazz, improvisation and folklore are woven in equal measure into the music she makes, creating colourful pictures and landscapes via sound.
