We celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Douglas Lilburn, New Zealand's best known composer, with his String Quartet in E minor. Haydn's witty String Quartet Op. 33 No 2 The Joke and the wonderful String Quartet in C Op. 59 No 3 Rasumovsky by Beethoven complete the programme.
