Folk in The Tron! An awesome night of Folk music in Hamilton, featuring Albi and The Wolves, Looking For Alaska and The Goth and The Pixie!

This is folk music, but not as you know it. Pulling inspiration from a wide spectrum of genres, from swing to bluegrass, soul, r&b, rock and world music, Albi & The Wolves offer a decadent serving of double bass, banjo, and fiddle accompanied by Albi's smooth vocal stylings. These elements come together to create both a potent foot stomping rhythm and a captivating music and stage presence never experienced before.

Hamilton based duo Looking for Alaska have been making music together for the last 2 years establishing themselves as both a hardworking covers act and passionate songwriters. Influenced by the likes of The Civil Wars and The Decemberists, the pair have been quickly establishing a sound that is uniquely them. Having delighted audiences opening for bands such as Fly My Pretties and The Herbs, the duo are now currently in the midst of recording their debut EP which is set for release late 2015, so be sure to keep your eyes and ears open.

The Goth and The Pixie are a Hamilton based acoustic duo, brimming with debonair wit and kooky charm. Featuring guitar, violin and beautiful harmonies, their music could best be described as Simon and Garfunkel meets The Cure.

Presale tickets $10, door sales $15. Presales available from undertheradar.co.nz
