Carlee Rhodes play a fresh New Zealand take on musical styles out of the Southern US.
Mixing genres ranging from soul and blues to country and rock n' roll, the band's diverse and energetic set of upbeat and slower-tempo originals has been capturing crowds at venues and festivals throughout the country.
Fronted by the soulful Carlee Atkin, the five piece's original sound is influenced by a 1970s Fender Rhodes keyboard which has been passed down through generations of Atkins.
