We've seen some fantastic acts grace the Cassette Nine stage this year, but it's time for a short break. Help us celebrate what's been a wonderful 11 months by joining crowd favourites Superhero Second Line, Shoutin' Preachin' and newcomers Albi and The Wolves on Friday the 27th for the Lost Vegas 2015 Finalé.

Albi and The Wolves bring acoustic folk solidarity back into the modern age with dynamic original tunes and uplifting arrangements of popular songs from the past and present day. The band has built up phenomenal momentum in the last 12 months having played over 100 shows, releasing both an EP and single with video.

Since 2011, hip-hop/brass ensemble Shoutin' Preachin' have been making noise with their unique blend of socially conscious rap, New Orleans style horns and hard grooving bass and drums. Early last year, the group released their debut EP, New Low Humans, on the Sound Recordings Label. The title track has since spent significant time in the bFM playlist and top 10, it also tracked well on the music charts at the audience.co.nz.

Superhero Second Line is a mixing pot of culture and identity, bringing together the familiar sounds of the traditional New Orleans Brass Band as well as modern pop and classic blues songs. Band members have previously performed on many platforms from the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia, and Auckland Jazz Orchestra, right through to sharing the stage with some of the country and world’s greatest bands including The Black Seeds, Trombone Shorty, and Dave Dobbyn.
