EARL JEFFERSON – Earl Jefferson formed late last year as a working band, playing old blues jams in various Cuba St bars. While at work they meticulously crafted an original set. This will be the bands second performance and friends have likened the sound to David Bowie and some of the Beatles ‘later’ recordings. Earl Jefferson is fronted by Mark Sommerville on Electric guitar & vocals with an all star rhythm section consisting of Andrew Bain (Fur Patrol) on Bass guitar, Dayle Jellyman (Roseneath Centennial Ragtime Band) on Piano and Liam Prince on drums.
FINN JOHANSSON - Finn Johansson has been rambling around Europe for the last couple of years, hypnotising crowds in living rooms, bars and theatres alike, including a sold out tour through Germany and Denmark with Irish sensations Keeva. While on an unexpected stint in Liverpool he settled into life on an 80 year old wooden ship where he wrote, recorded and self-produced 18 songs, the best of which have been distilled into his debut album now available.
GRAM ANTLER - The bass player and guitarist from Eb & Sparrow, Gram Antler presents a laid-back alt-country/americana style with a little New York sophistication in the mix. Gram’s languid, soulful vocals and melancholic themes tuck up the audience like a warm blanket, or a generous measure of the finest whiskey on a cold night.
A sexy poster will be up on the streets soon!
