Emergence is proud to be returning the reject of the Auckland Techno scene KEEPSAKES, to Valhalla ahead of his European tour. Last time around he blew us away with his pounding rythems and intense performance, and showcased just why he is making his mark on the world stage.

Samari
Hailing from the southern hemisphere’s techno hotspot Melbourne, Samari has been rocking dance floors in New Zealand and Australia for the last 8 years supporting legend’s; Perc, Chris Liebing, Octave One, Derrick May, Mark Antona, Tommy Four Seven, Erphun, Robert Hood, Housemeister and Mike Huckaby among others.
As a techno innovator Samari has helped unify the Melbourne scene, running Gradient - dedicated to local talent, whilst touring New Zealand with his live AV show Gun Metal alongside Kill Me DJ.
In 2012 Samari was invited to join When The Smoke Clears, combining 8 of Melbourne’s best techno ambassadors and bringing in the heavyweights of the international techno scene.
Samari saw his first release in 2010 on Dub transmissions and since has been crafting his style with coming releases on his soon to launch label.
Standing at nearly two meters tall and half Euro Samari Mentink has now returned to the motherland to showcase his deep and driving style of energetic techno.

Paul Dockery
Pauls style is based around industrial textures and moody scapes with both broken and 4 to the floor beats. rangeing through deep house, dub techno, experimental, and techno. His main influences currently are labels such as Komisch, Reaktivate, Sonic Groove, Mord, Token etc. Paul has also played with a number of well recognized acts such as Advanced Human, Mary Velo, Paolo Mojo, Marcel Woods both in Ireland, New Zealand, and Germany.
He also runs clubnights in Wellington, New Zealand under the brand Emergence which is pushing cutting edge techno in New Zealand. Paul has also studied DJ Techniques and Music Production at Bray Institute of Further Education where he has gained vital experience in a professional studio aswell as perfecting his all round Dj techniques. His productions are mainly Techno, with an analogue feel and moody soundscapes. His first release is on Consepto Hipnotico Records [CHR] and no doubt we will see quality releases from him in the future.
Paul also has a radio show named Oscillator 1 on 88.6fm/www.radioactive.co.nz. This is a monthly 2 hour, radio show 1am - 3am Saturday night New Zealand time or Saturday noon 12 -2pm (PMT)Irish time. Dedicated and ambitious, Paul Dockery is a name we will be hearing from in the future.
