Other Roads are one of the finest contemporary folk bands to emerge in recent years. Based in the UK, they also tour regularly in Holland, Germany, Denmark, Spain and New Zealand, and continue to gain popularity in new countries across the globe.
Pete Abbott, Gregor Borland and Dave Walmisley draw upon their diverse backgrounds in Scotland, England and Africa to create an exciting and original sound. These talented multi-instrumentalists incorporate fiddle, bouzouki, guitars, mandolin and even harmonica with some extremely fine harmony singing. They perform an eclectic mix of traditional, contemporary and original compositions, ranging from soft lilting ballads to foot-stomping Celtic fiddle tunes and choruses.
