The news comes after the release of his highly anticipated album “Konnichiwa”, featuring two silver-certified hits and guest appearances from A$AP Mob and a collaboration with Pharrell Williams. Now a decade into his MC career, “Konnichiwa” marks Skepta’s fourth full length studio release, and it’s monumental success embodies a scene’s ability to shift on its own terms.
His single Shutdown now sits at over thirty million listens online, and his album has been streamed over 45 million times on Spotify following its release this May.
