Acoustic global roots music...
Globe trotting, dub-conscious, acoustic soul, roots & reggae troubadour ‘Jesse Morris’ sets off on a national solo tour of New Zealand throughout June. With shows in Whakatane, Rotorua, Waihi, Gisborne, Hastings, Wellington, Blenheim, Little River, Methven, Queenstown, Wanaka, Dunedin & Waimate. Jesse will be joined in the South Island by Californian & Dunedin based alt-blues songsmith ‘Julian Temple’.
Jesse is now based out of the Australian Northern Rivers Byron Bay hinterland where he has been touring across Australia with over 150 live shows this year and a string of national tours. A heartwarming, wild storytelling, gypsy-esque, acoustic reggae show.
This tour celebrates the release of his latest single ‘Freedom Has No Measure’ a track co-written with a volunteer teacher from Cambodia’s island village of Koh Rong. Jesse spent time living, writing and volunteering here. All proceeds from this track go directly to supporting the school’s arts program.
