Inside: Big Other is an antipodean collaboration between bassist Max Alduca, drummer Joe McCallum and multi-wind instrumentalist Reuben Derrick. With roots in jazz, sonic art and free improvisation the trio create sonic collages by combining acoustic instruments with electronics and field recordings. The result is a unique experience that blurs the edges of sound/communication, acoustic/electronic, tradition/intuition.
