Bob & Hank: Rob Joass and Hamish Graham Long Term Sidekicks Perform
Rob Joass and long term side kick and multi-instrumentalist Hamish Graham will perform songs from Rob's 2014 album “Black and White”, new material from his upcoming Blue Sky Songs album, as well as a selection from their extensive back catalogue, including the recently released Hobnail 21st anniversary album String Things. Having sung, played, and toured together for over 20 years they will take an audience on a vocal and instrumental journey, featuring great songs, wonderful two-part harmonies, ripping instrumentals and a healthy dose of humour.
Rob moved to New Zealand from his native Sydney over 20 years ago. Since then he has maintained a consistently high profile in folk music circles in New Zealand, having released 8 albums with his bands Hobnail, The Shot Band and Too Many Chiefs, and touring the country regularly. He has been a finalist at the NZ music awards 3 times (twice for best country song, once for best folk album) and has had songs covered by bands in New Zealand, Australia and Canada.
