Kylie Price has no doubt that her future will revolve around music. Since winning the 2012 NZ Gold Guitar Overall Award and being named as a NZ Horizon Award Finalist there has been no looking back for this 20-year-old Otago University music student.
Kylie Price set out to stay true to the intimacy and minimal feel of country music, yet she is not a purist. Her eclectic personality shines through her songs, finding an outlet in the form of influences and expressions as diverse as alt country, blues and folk.
Her diverse and out-of-the-box approach make for instinctive, passionate and organic live performances; which are about to be captured in the recording studio for the very first time:
Kylie’s spine tingling live performances have produced opportunities to be the opening act for such illustrious artists as Air Supply; The Hollies, Juice Newton and Hank Marvin, perform the national anthem at a Bledisloe Cup opening, and add her special touch of cheer at Christchurch’s Christmas in the Park.
Kylie is set to release her debut EP Wanderer // Wonderer, with the support of a stellar production team (featuring Aussie producer Bill Chambers and award-winning mastering engineer Jeff McCormick among others).

The hall is situated up the long driveway, directly next to Domain Park, and there is plenty of well-lit off street parking.
