DJ Joeski was born in Brooklyn NY, and raised in a highly diversified and urban neighborhood in Corona, Queens. Growing up a short ride away from the New York City Underground House scene. In 1991, JoeSki was booked to play at NYC Wunder Bar. Located in the heart of a crowded Manhattan, where tall buildings lined the street, and hundreds of people waited outside of the front of the club, where promoters used thick velvet ropes, guest lists and bouncers to control the crowd of people waiting to get picked to come inside for the night. The demand to get into a top pumping house club then was insatiable.
Over the next few years JoeSki began to build a career domestically, and became one of the founders of The Chocolate Factory. His career expanded throughout NYC historical clubs such as The Limelight, Tunnel, Palladium & NASA. JoeSki then hooked up with DJ Keoki, where they played together at the infamous East Village after-hours club Save the Robots. Shortly after he accepted the Residency for the Together party friday nights at the Roxy. It was a privilage to play alongside Americas finest DJ’s including Danny T, Little Louie Vega and Roger Sanchez.
International booking began to flow, and he began a residency at Groove Society in Montreal. He returned home to build a studio in the late 90s,and worked hard at distinguishing himself as a producer. In 2000, Joeski came roaring out with a series of tracks and remixes on Siesta, Junior Boys Own, Ministry of Sound, Tango, Electric Soul and more.
Maya Records first label inspired by fellow Artist & Producers. Maya has over 100 releases of quality house grooves. The first release “Hustler’s Revenge” was an immediate hit, and with DJ Chus (Chus & Ceballos) created “El Amor” another huge hit for the imprint. Artist he worked with: Sneaker Pimps, Dajaé, Delacy, Dirty Vegas, Medway, DJ Sneak

Participated in several well regarded collaboration projects. 6400 Crew including Onionz, Hipp-e & Halo, Master D and Tony, with big hits appearing on Tango, NRK, Maya and Siesta. John Creamer, Stephan K, Steve Smith of Dirty Vegas, and most recently Matthias Heilbronn.
International bookings Asia, Turkey, Israel, South America, Macedonia, Europe, The Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand. He has regular destinations in Greece, UK, Portugal,Columbia, and Mexico, including residencies in Barcelona and at Stereo in Montreal.
