knuckles is the solo project of Matthew Mitchinson, who after nearly a decade spent making music in London (primarily as a core member of the critically-acclaimed band Klak Tik; 9/10 - NME, 8/10 - Uncut) has returned to his homeland of Aotearoa to render his next musical breath.
Tracking an epochal year in worlds both at home and at large, his music casts a slightly weary eye over the state of things - songs that find the universal in the specific and force in restraint.
