Free up your calendars, because this Sunday we have Rodney Fisher & The Rest with special guest Ben Mastwyk, all the way from Australia.
You'll probably know Rodney from hosting Kingsland Folk Club, and probably from Goodshirt too, but if you haven't before, come along and see him play his solo material with his band Rodney Fisher & The Rest.
Rodney's solo career has seen him play shows with some great musicians over the year, including Mumford & Sons, Robert Ellis, Jason Isbell, and recently, Julia Jacklin.
Made up of many an awesome musician, The Rest includes the dynamic Sal Valentine (of Sal Valentine & The Babyshakes), and the multi-talented Liz Stokes (of The Beths and Sal Valentine & The Babyshakes).
They'll be joined by Ben Mastwyk, all the way from Melbourne, who is currently touring across New Zealand with Lisa Crawley and will be bringing his own brand of alt-country and americana to the humble stage of KFC.
And an added extra to all of this is that it's a long weekend, so you don't have to feel bad about indulging in that extra drink ;)
