We are very excited to present a evening of music from Alfred Harth (DE.), otherwise known as ‘Alfred 23 Harth’ or ‘A23H’.
This influential German multimedia artist, band leader, musician, and composer has been creatively mixing and mashing genres since the late 1960s with groups such as Cassiber (with Chris Cutler and Heiner Goebbles), Just Music, E.M.T., Duo Goebbels/Harth. A prolific collaborator, Harth has also worked with the likes of John Zorn, Otomo Yoshihide, Peter Brötzmann, FM Einheite, Paul Bley, Trilok Guru, Steve Beresford, Anton Fier, Kawabata Makoto, and many others.
For this event, A23H will be joined by Korea-based N.Z. expat, John Bell, and British jazz guitarist, Mark Hewins, local drummer Chris OConnor and other guests.
