On Wednesday 22nd March, Morning People co-founder Jamie Newman plays Morning People.
An all-round DIY party-starter, Jamie got his start DJing, promoting and playing parties and festivals in the late 90s. He’s played in forests, at fashion parties, on beaches, on the airwaves, at house parties, and at some of New Zealand’s and the world’s most iconic festivals - including Splore, The Gathering and Nevada’s Burning Man festival.
In 2012 Jamie introduced No Lights No Lycra to New Zealand – curating the music and growing the crazy concept from 10 friends in a hall to over 100 people regularly letting loose in the dark on a Monday night.
Known for his love of music from across genres and eras, on Wednesday 22nd March Jamie returns to his tech-house roots. Don’t miss this opportunity to wake up and shake it with Morning People’s own Jamie Newman.
