At Roomfulla Blues this Thursday 16 March, Wayne Finch, Bernard Messmer, Wayne Mason and Warwick Halcrow return to Roomfulla Blues in a band called Lie To Me, playing revitalised authentic blues classics and originals.
The group’s sound is influenced not just by blues, but swing, country, and R&B and they play a mixture of originals and classics such as Hoochie Coochie Man, Going Down Slow, Mean Old World, and Season of the Witch.
Lead guitarist Bernard Messmer says, “Lie to Me are planning on touring the African continent…later in the year… in a quest to find our deepest roots, then again maybe not…”. Sounds like this band is on the cutting edge of something…!
