Bivouac and Dance Happy Doom Crew are excited to announce that post-hardcore experimentalists LOMA PRIETA will be heading to New Zealand in June.
Formed in 2005, LOMA PRIETA have been a mainstay of the Bay Area hardcore community for more than a decade and have crafted a hardcore sound that straddles the line between melody and chaos. Their latest release, Self Portrait (released on Deathwish) balances hopelessness and openhearted aspiration, resulting in a full length that feels truer to life than anything else they’ve released to date.
LOMA PRIETA toured throughout New Zealand with Parents in 2012. In June, they return and are joined by post-hardcore upstarts (and Parents affiliates) Long Distance Runner for the North Island, and Yung Nat$ for the South.
