The Dan Fulton Quartet pay tribute to Jaco Pastorius – a true legend of modern jazz. Jaco Pastorius was a true musical visionary, a man who single-handedly redefined all previous notions of what was thought possible on the electric bass guitar.
Fusing styles as diverse as swing era jazz, Caribbean rhythms, the classicism of Bach, American R&B, through to bebop & beyond... Portrait Of Jaco will delight music fans of all tastes.
Dan Fulton, a virtuoso bassist, is joined by a talented line-up including Anton Wuts (sax), Ben Wilcock (keyboard), Will McClure (drums) and other surprise guests.
Wellington Jazz Festival is on from June 7-11.
