MILLER YULE (FULL BAND) // GREG FLEMING // MILLY TABAC // BERNIE GRIFFEN & THE THIN MEN
As part of NZ Music Month 2017, Flight 605 and Soho Wine are proud to present four free entry curated boutique music shows, bringing some of Auckland’s best emerging and established talent to the public in an intimate setting.
MILLER YULE
The artist Miller is at the start, the front, the very beginning of something he hopes you will feel when you hear his music.
All Miller asks is you let his songs do the singing, so to speak, via the release of his debut 5 track EP ‘Shoot Me In The Heart’.
25 years of age, talented, driven, hungry, an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and performer, Miller can already find his way, very nicely, around a recording studio and know what is going on and how to get music recorded.
Miller's debut EP 'Shoot Me In The Heart' debuted at #4 in the NZ Album's Chart. 2016 also saw the release of two music videos for singles 'Shoot Me In The Heart' & 'Little Things'.
After introducing himself to the World, Miller capped off 2016 supporting Ben Harper on his NZ Tour.

GREG FLEMING
Greg Fleming is often referred to as a pioneer of alt country in New Zealand. One of his first gigs was supporting Texan legend Townes Van Zandt in 1990, afterwards Van Zandt took him aside and told him “don’t ever stop writing” and invited him up on stage the next night. Greg didn’t stop writing and the critically acclaimed albums Taken (2010), Edge of the City (2012) bear out Van Zandt's belief.

MILLY TABAC
Milly Tabac is the driving vocal force of Auckland indie/country/blues act The Miltones, who have gone from strength to strength since their formation, going on to support Mick Fleetwood and recently releasing their dynamic single "Wildfire".

BERNIE GRIFFEN & THE THIN MEN
Bernie Griffen and The Thin Men are swampy gothic tinged country rock 4-piece fronted by Bernie Griffen (The Grifters).
A singer-songwriter with a powerful voice full of soul, humour and sadness, Griffen is a story-teller to the core, penning songs about characters real and imagined existing in a world of criminals and saints; dusty feet and wounded hearts. He draws influence from blues, from the country-rock of Gram Parsons and The Grateful Dead, the sharp-tongued lyrical wit of Bob Dylan, the mournful wails of Neil Young and outlaw country singers like Johnny Cash.
