Every other Sunday we present to you the brand new JAZZ HANDS, where we've lined up some of Auckland's most beloved jazz acts to entertain on a cosy Sunday evening, while we wine/beer you, and this edition features Silhouette.
Silhouette had its beginnings in 2016 as Combo 11 in the jazz department of UoA. The band features saxophonist Charlie Isdale, guitarist Sam Swindells, pianist & vocalist Nick Dow, drummer Daniel Waterson, & bassist Denholm Orr. Band repertoire includes fresh compositions of its members as well as classic jazz standards. In their various formats, they have played for the French New Zealand Chamber of Commerce, and the Auckland Young Professionals, among others.
