What do we have here! the first ever Newtown band crawl.

To celebrate the existence of the hole in the wall we call Death Ray records, we kindly welcome your eyes, ears and legs to come along to a super fucking cool event we like to call NBC (Newtown Band Crawl). Yes all our musictopians, a band crawl set around the super cultural suburb & music capital of New Zealand that is Newtown. This sick event starts at 3pm Saturday 2nd of September and ends sometime after midnight. We have 8 locations that will have music played during different times of the day and the event will have a strict time scedule so if your seriously on the band crawl you won't miss anything. Plus you'll have the enigmatic MC Mike Hills to yell you to the next venue. Each time you hop to the next venue you'll get 15 minutes to get there. Band details of who is playing will get released at the start of August and tickets will be available as well from Death Ray from August. Cheap as and only $20 for the whole event or $5 per show at single band venues or $10 for the Moon show. Your ticket will be a A4 guide of the times and venues plus it'll have the old Bryan Brown voucher for the Death Ray show.

BANDS' we won't be telling you which band will be playing where. The event will be potluck times but don't frett! we've organised around 14 top of the line local bands and even a few from outta town. If you dig any of these sounds, cosmic psychedelic garage punk surf indie fuzz rock then you gotta be at this event. We got a few DJ's playing between times at a few venues.

We'll even have 4 new tee shirt designs and some stickers. Only if boss dude gets his ass into gear. So keep following this event page for releases and other info regarding our grand event.
