Kiwi troubadour Callum Gentleman is releasing a Killer and taking him on the road. The song and video for Callum’s new single Blue Collar Killer are out now, with an 11-date New Zealand tour with his band in September and October, after which he spends November touring Australia.
Friday 13th maybe unlucky for some, but not for the patrons of Common Room this October. Friday 13th is the date Callum Gentleman finally returns to play what he considers to be one of the best bars in the country. Voted Outstanding Bar and Outstanding Local at the Hawke's Bay Hospitality Awards 2016, he has evidence to back up the claim. Proprietor Gerard Barron knows how to take care of both artists and audience, as Callum found when he played his last gig there in June of last year.
Hawke's Bay artist Danica Bryant joins Callum for this October gig. Danica is a young singer-songwriter with a self-professed love for the sky. She has been singing and spinning stories since writing her first song at the age of seven. Her debut track ‘Deeply’ was released in 2016, followed by ‘These Sirens’ later that year. The future is exciting for Danica as she continues to present intense, enchanting performances, sure to make you question the world around you through a curious, innovative new lens.
