Hitting the South Island in December, one of NZ's most popular Brazilian bands will play the main centres over the summer, with the second stop in Queenstown celebrating the Brazilian national samba day!
Só Samba offers a high-energy exposition of Brazilian culture, showcasing an authentic and vibrant experience of Rio de Janeiro’s traditional “rodas de samba” (samba circles).
With an impressive fan base in the capital, their uplifting roots samba melodies and hypnotizing beats create the ultimate party atmosphere.
Consisting of Brazilian musicians from some of the most respected samba groups in Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais and a splash of Kiwi to boot, the band draws inspiration from other genres such as jazz and bossa-nova and has been known to “sambafy” some all-time classics.
