They’ve topped the Australian charts, collaborated with the biggest names in music and now Aussie dancefloor fillers Sneaky Sound System are bringing their party vibes to New Zealand for Wellington Cup Day on Saturday 20 January.
As well as fan favourite tunes from their self-titled debut album, including 'UFO', 'Pictures', and 'I Love It', and hits from their #1 Australian album ‘2’, they’ll be bringing fresh cuts to partying racegoers from their new EP 'Do Ya Thing'.
“New Zealand is one of our absolute favourite places in the world so when we got asked to play at Wellington Cup Day, the answer was always going to be yes!” says Sneaky Sound System frontwoman Ms Connie. “We’ve got such great memories of our shows at San Fran, and we’re looking forward to bringing the vibe on-course in January. It’s been too long - see you there!”
Comprised of frontwoman Ms. Connie and producer/DJ Black Angus, Sneaky Sound System have been spreading their infectious rhythms since 2004, picking up MTV and Aria awards as well as adulation from both festival and clubgoers worldwide.
Last seen in New Zealand in 2009 for a series of sold out shows across the country, the group affectionately known as ‘Sneaky’ have been blazing a trail across the planet since then, with a series of world tours, a collaboration with superstar DJ Tiesto, and a residency in Mykonos hotspot Scorpio over the last three years with their ‘Sneaky Sundays’ club night. Front woman Ms Connie has also spent time collaborating with superstars such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, as well as mentoring up and coming vocalists on Australia’s most popular TV show, The Voice.
