Gig Information

Following the release of her long awaited sophomore album 'Mother Of Gloom', Wellington alt-folk artist Emily Fairlight will be heading out on NZ tour.

The album was recorded in Austin Texas with Doug Walseth of The Cat's Eye studio and mixed in Lyttelton by Ben Edwards at The Sitting Room. Featuring the single 'The Escape', this album has piqued the interest of many including Muzic.net.nz and The 13th Floor.

It’s a hauntingly beautiful composition that sinks into you with its heartfelt delivery and writing.
- Janise Kumar @ Muzic.net.nz

If The Escape is anything to go by, this’ll be a release to look out for.
- Ruben Mita @ The 13th Floor

Joining her in Christchurch and Dunedin will be Dick Whyte (WGTN) and Tom Maxwell.

Available on vinyl and CD at one of these shows!
