DICK TRACY are proud to release their debut SELF-TITLED album.

Home to New Zealand's longest navigable waterway, WHANGANUI's music scene is thriving. Combining these reasons and that WHANGANUI is the birth-place of DICK TRACY's stoic bassist, it was unquestionably the place to celebrate the release.

Recorded at Creative Sounds NZ, mixed by Samuel K Sproull @ Homesurgery Studios in Melbourne and mastered by Kog Studios, DICK TRACY's SELF-TITLED album will have you grooving with both peace and rage as the vamping heavy riffs enter your soul. The album will be released on digital platform only (details TBA) on the 12/05/2018 and LUCKY BAR & KITCHEN is the venue to celebrate this.

Accompanied by SUPER NARCO MAN, from the Bay of Plenty (named by James Cook after he noticed the abundant food supplies at several Māori villages). SUPER NARCO MAN are also on their EP release tour for their 'DANK MAMMOTH DELUXE EP'.
Super Narco Man are not for the faint of heart, they create a sound perfect for those moments when you just want to let go. - Muzic.net.nz review of the EP.

Also joining is OPIUM EATER of Wellington (Te Upoko o Te Ika). OPIUM EATER released their album ENNUI in the later months of 2017 and have been hailed by music blogs as being absorbing, animated, and emotionally rewarding.

$10 door sales only, so we can all pay off our hefty recording bills.
