Synth, soundscapes and electro-mechanical magic
Ed's Room is an immersive sound and light experience with an acute importance placed on outstanding sound and preparation of the environment in which it is created. Held in intimate venues, the performance is comprised of Ed Zuccollo's musical creation using both produced and improvised elements, and Nic Cave-Lynch's beautiful and synergistic live lighting design.
This show progressively builds with no breaks in sound, ranging from solo dream piano and radio communications from Apollo missions to searing rhythmic synthesiser pieces and long-form simmering electronica sounds utilising a variety of acoustic, electronic, electro-mechanical instruments and live effects.
